GoKwik streamlines checkout and detects fraud with AI

“First of all, we have created a checkout experience which helps in terms of doing bunch of the things automatically for a consumer,” says Vivek Bajpai, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at GoKwik.
Single sign-on (SSO) logins make the checkout process smooth and efficient by allowing customers to auto-fill their details across the network of GoKwik websites. But that’s not all, as Bajpai explains: “Using our data ML algorithms, what we do in the background, we check for fraud, we check for consumer fraud, we check for merchant fraud.”
GoKwik has been with AWS since its inception, valuing its stability and reliability as “fundamental”. But the startup also benefits from being able to scale its infrastructure in a way that works for GoKwik: “They have a very flexible model where you can utilize capacity whenever you want, and you can reduce the capacity,” says Bajpai.
GoKwik’s solution is built using Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) and Amazon EC2 for scalable cloud compute. The startup also uses AWS Managed Services to help reduce the operational burden on its internal teams. Bajpai explains: “We don’t have any database engineer until now. Everything is managed by AWS only.”
